Salsa Level 2: Pre-Intermediate (On2)

Description:
This fast-paced series is designed for confident Salsa On1 dancers who are ready to transition to On2 (also known as Mambo). You’ll build rhythm, technique, and musicality in the new timing—while learning brand new combinations that push you beyond beginner material.
We’ll cover both shines and partnerwork, with a focus on clean mechanics, body control, and making the On2 rhythm feel natural.
Perfect for Lux Level 1 grads ready to move up at an accelerated pace—or for dancers who’ve reached an intermediate level in Salsa On1 at other studios. If you’re looking for a slower-paced class that reviews the basics while introducing On2 timing, check out our Level 1.5.
Recommended For:
Dancers with 12+ hours of Salsa On1 instruction plus at least 12 hours of social dance experience. This is not a beginner class—students should already be confident with basic turn patterns and steps.
