Join Stefan and Carolyn for a two-part workshop focused on mastering multiple Salsa spins and turns. Across two Sundays, you’ll develop the techniques needed for smoother, more confident turns, whether you’re leading or following. This workshop is designed to elevate your partnering skills, balance, and precision.
What You’ll Learn:
• Multiple Spot Turns: Sharpen your ability to execute controlled, precise turns in place.
• Multiple Check Turns: Master dynamic directional changes with ease and elegance.
• Multiple Traveling Turns: Add flow and power to turns performed across the floor or during a cross-body lead.
• Spot Spins: The pinnacle of Salsa turning, featuring continuous rotations on one foot with lead assistance.
Instruction Tailored to Both Leads and Follows:
• Leaders: Prep turns, maintain balance and control, ensure safe rotations, and finish smoothly.
• Followers: Generate power, maintain balance, spot, and style your spins for an effortless finish.
Come with a partner or come solo—we’ll rotate partners in class to ensure everyone gets a chance to practice with different leads and follows.

RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE:
This workshop is best suited for intermediate and above Salsa dancers who are comfortable with the basic steps, timing (On1 or On2), and foundational turns like single right and left turns. Beginner dancers may find the material challenging without prior turn experience.
COST:
• $40 for one class or $70 for both (Save up to $20 by pre-registering!)
• Door price: $45 for one class or $90 for both
